Stationary lead-acid batteries

Accumulator battery - a key component of equipment which provides continuous operation in the field of communications, telecommunications, automation and many other industries. If the main power network is down (or functioning incorrectly)  accumulator battery - basic element that is used as a backup power source for a period of absence of network or at a certain time needed to safely shut down equipment or time required to start and warm-up diesel generators.

Especially popular are the valve-regulated lead-acid batteries (VRLA battery). Batteries of this type are designed in such a way that the gas emissions recombination occurs inside the battery, and safety valve is needed to clear the excessive gas, providing a safe level of pressure inside the battery.

Valve-regulated lead-acid batteries are durable and easy in operation. These batteries are characterized by small losses of  electrolyte during operation, no need for constant watering and no need of special conditions for ventilation of the premises. This kind of batteries is safe and have a long operating time.

Due to the nature of batteries execution of this type are subdivided into gel batteries and battery technology with AGM. In the first type of battery use the gel, while the second - fiberglass to bind and to prevent leakage of electrolyte. Such solution also contributes the recombination of released gases.

Owing its advantages VRLA batteries steadily replacing traditional batteries.
